Prerequisites
Make sure you have these before installing:
TrueNAS SCALE
Version 22.12+ with Docker support
API Key
TrueNAS API key (Settings → API Keys)
iSCSI Configured
At least one ZVOL and target (or let ClubFoundry create them)
Install
Option A: One-Line Installer (Recommended)
SSH into your TrueNAS server and run:
curl -fsSL https://clubfoundry.net/install.sh | bash
The script will ask for your TrueNAS API key, host URL, and port. It pulls the Docker image and configures everything automatically.
Option B: Docker Manual Setup
If you prefer manual control:
docker run -d --name clubfoundry \
--network host --restart unless-stopped \
-e TRUENAS_API_KEY=your-key-here \
-e TRUENAS_URL=http://localhost \
-v clubfoundry-data:/app/data \
ghcr.io/clubfoundry/clubfoundry:latest
Replace your-key-here with your TrueNAS API key. Default web UI port: 3000.
After Installation
- Open http://your-truenas-ip:3000 in your browser
- Create your admin account
- Run the Setup Wizard to discover your ZVOLs and PCs
- Select which PCs and disks to manage
- Assign update policies and you're done!
Already Have ClubFoundry?
Manage your license or upgrade your plan.
Activate a License Key
Open your ClubFoundry web UI, go to Settings → License, and enter your license key. The key was sent to your email after purchase.
